Snapdragon flower essence made from snapdragon flowers grown in the garden beds at Bow Sanctuary. Flower essences support the mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic bodies.

Antirrhinum majus (Latin). Anti is derived from Greek and means “like”. Rhin is the Greek for “nose”. Therefore, “nose-like” or “like a nose” as we see the snout-shaped blossom of the snapdragon. We see strength embodied in snapdragons as they thrive in rocky areas where most other plants would stay in seed. They enhance the internal and external environment for extra protection from challenging influences. The essence brings a cooling balance so the soul can produce lively, dynamic outward expression. Emotionally balances verbal communication. Redirects lower energy, releasing tension and adding creativity.

Flower essences are vibrational medicine, derived from the life of flowers. They affect positive shifts in mood, attitudes, and thought patterns. The essences flood the self with the corresponding positive frequencies which allows us to return to our higher selves both internally and externally. Each flower essence resonates at a specific frequency corresponding to specific psycho emotional needs of the person. The different frequencies from the flowers is what empowers them to provide different aspects of healing. They can also be used with animals or plants.

Flower essences can only be made on a sunny day and with as little human contact as possible. Without touching the flowers, the petals are picked with permission and intention and placed in a bowl with spring water. The bowl is placed in the sun for 3-4 hours where the water gets infused with the vitality of the flowers. The flower petals are then removed and a preservative is added during the bottling process. Each bottle is harvested, bottled, and labeled by hand.
